Wes Barton is a Business Development Partner with Golden State Insurance Services . Wes is focused on helping financial advisors with retirement and risk management solutions. Wes’s consultative approach is centered around understanding the needs of the advisor, understanding how they work with their clients, and then providing relevant risk management ideas they can incorporate into their client service process. 

Prior to joining, Wes was a Deposit Relationship Manager with BBVA and spent fifteen years at Wells Fargo as a Liquidity Wholesaler and a Liquidity Advisor - covering public entities, non-profit hospitals, and higher education clients. With over twenty-three years in the financial services industry, Wes is keen on developing client relationships by listening to their needs, evaluating guidelines, and customizing solutions to meet financial goals.

Wes is originally from Connecticut and has lived in Scottsdale, AZ since 2012.  Wes is married to Suzanne and has two children, Brady (14) and Ashley (12).  Wes enjoys coaching his children’s teams, playing tennis, pickleball, and loves being a dad.  Wes is a Real Men Wear Pink Representative for the American Cancer Society and was selected to represent Phoenix in the 2019 campaign.
